"Sailor
Boy"
A little
black dog longed to travel afar
And set sail in a boat of wood.
He charted his course by the moon and the stars
As only a good dog could.
Over the
sea and under the sky
And across a rainbow, too.
Though I never got to tell him goodbye
Somehow my Sailor Boy knew.
This little Scottie isn't
a bit afraid of the wide ocean he is sailing upon. He has set his course
for somewhere beyond the moon and doesn't even notice that a little
goldfish has come up to see what all the fuss is about.
